Northern Illinois Online Bible Study (NIOBS) meets via Zoom every Monday evening (except for major holidays) at 7:00 PM Cetral Time. See our page devoted to NIOBS Bible Study, and/or email us at heatherhopefarm@gmail.com to be put on the list and receive a Zoom link.

On Monday, September 9, NIOBS begins an eight week study of how we interpret the Bible. On the 9th we will be joined by Bible scholar, author of many books on the New Testament, and exciting teracher, Dr. Mark Allan Powell. This will be an ideal time for newcomers to join in our lively conversation about the Word of God for our lives!

Lunch and Learn is an in-person weekly discussion group that we coordinate at Salem Lutheran Church, 1145 DeKalb Avenue, Sycamore, Illinois, 60178. We meet most Thursdays for 60 to 75 minutes, starting at 11:30 AM Central Time.

Email us at heatherhopefarm@gmail.com for more information and/or to be put on an email information list.

The current topic is the music and theology of Johann Sebastian Bach, to be followed by a discussion of the ways many hand-written scriptural manuscripts have been pieced together and interpreted by scholars.

Dog Demonstrations

We no longer travel to do herding dog demonstrations. But if families or non-profit groups would like to stop by for a brief demonstration during the warmer months wh we have sheep grazing here, we would be happy to accomodate. Please email us at heatherhopefarm@gmail.com to discuss and arrange.

NIOBS Autumn Fest

Our first ever face to face gathering for past, present, or future participants in Northern Illinois Online Bible Study will be on Heatherhope Farm (see below for map and directions), on October 5, 2024. We will gather, eat at noon, and chat and worship after that.
