Betty in Alfalfa: Dogs Keep Us Sane

I share this picture of our 13 year old Betty, marching through our lush field of alfalfa, because I want to share joy in a time when I and many others are troubled. Dogs keep us sane. Dogs’ super power is reading our emotions and giving us love and joy to calm us. When we look into their eyes we see God’s unconditional acceptance and love. Betty has come through two very difficult periods of ill health, but in typical canine and Border Collie spirit, she keeps on keeping on.
