  1. Nancy Patriarco says:

Recently in a training clinic I put my young pup on sheep on for the first time. The clinician was very impressed with the way he handled himself. When he asked his breeding his eyes lit up- the pup’s grandsires are Ricky Hutchinson’s Jock and your Cap. He said the pup was the spitting image of Cap. He thought Cap to be one of the best working dogs he had seen but of course, now we have a lot to live up to! He is one of the nicest pups I have had the pleasure of having in my life and we are very excited to see what the future holds for him. Just thought that I would share that some of the best of Cap lives on.

So good to hear of Cap’s progeny doing well. One of his daughters, Mike Neary’s Sis, is at present the second place dog with open trial points in North America. And Bryan White’s Brae is #30, Lori Perry’s Ember is #187; and Cap’s granddaughter, Adrian Espinoza’s Sally, is #21.

The most important thing of all, however, is the love that connects dog and owner. And I’m sure you and your dog will be exchanging a lot of that in the years ahead.

    Blessings on you and Drake.
