Quiet Winter, No Heatherhope Epiphany This Year

John had rotator cuff surgery on November 19 and he must refrain from using his left arm for much during a prolonged period of physical therapy. For this reason we are keeping things simple and quiet this winter here on the farm.

This means that we will have no special events for a while. We will wait until 2017 to have our next Heatherhope Epiphany gathering.

But the therapy on John’s shoulder is going well. We hope to enjoy this winter as a time of renewal as we anticipate again welcoming old and new friends to the farm in the spring of 2016. Please plan to join us then!

About John

John is a retired pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America who has served congregations for over 40 years, including in rural, suburban, campus ministry and urban settings. His love of Border Collie sheepdogs has been fortified by his many friendships with shepherds all around the world. Nothing he has ever or will ever accomplish is as significant as the patience God, his wife and his friends have shown in putting up with his deficiencies.
