Gordon Watt Dog Handling Clinic, Nov. 7 and 8

Gordon Watt of England will return to Heatherhope Farm for his third sheepdog handling clinic here, Thursday and Friday, November 7 and 8, 2013. Approximate times for the clinic are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Gordon Watt (r) works with Rich Kane in previous visit to Heatherhope.

Eight working slots are now filled, but auditing slots are still available. Each of the eight dogs will work twice each day. And we will try to make this a special and very informative event for everyone involved.

The auditing slots are available for $45 each day, which includes breakfast and lunch.

Gordon Watt made his very first American visit to Heatherhope Farm, not long after he won the 2005 World Sheepdog Trials Championship. He has also won the Irish National singles and brace championships and the English singles National Championship along with many other honors.  Gordon brings out a very relaxed working style from dogs by bringing them along at a natural pace and not exerting too much pressure at inappropriate times.
