Bobby Dalziel Returns to Heatherhope for April, 2012 Clinic

Swedish handler, Karin Soderberg, assisted Bobby Dalziel (r) for the handling clinic at Heatherhope in 2010.

Bobby Dalziel, one of the greatest sheepdog trainers and handlers in the world, will return to Heatherhope April 20 through 25, 2012.

Bobby has won the International Supreme twice with Wisp and once with Joe. He has also been the Reserve International Champion twice and won the Scottish National numerous times. When he steps to the post everyone wants to watch. When he gives advice, everyone listens. You can find his web site at www.bobbydalziel.com.

This will be Bobby’s third visit to Heatherhope Farm. Many of his students have told me that they can’t wait for him to return and that his help has revolutionized the way they handle sheepdogs.

Bobby enjoys working with handlers for at least five days, so participants are encouraged to book for five or six days at this clinic. But bookings may be made for any number of days.

Prices for the clinic are as follows:

First dog, entire 6 days = $480 (or $80 a day)

Second dog for the same handler, entire 6 days = $432 (or $72 a day)

First dog, 5 days = $400 (or $80 a day)

Second dog for same handler, 5 days = $360 (or $72 a day)

First dog each clinic day (less than 5 days) = $85

Second dog for the same handler each clinic day (less than 5 days) = $75

Audit = $30 per day

Private Lesson = $65

We will book a maximum of 15 spots for a day and Bobby will work with each dog once each day, but long enough to accomplish the goal for the session. Very young dogs will probably have their sessions split in two. Private lessons will only be booked if the clinic is not full or if Bobby is up to booking one or two lessons at the end of the day.

To guarantee a spot, please send the full amount to John Seraphine at the address below. Entry fees will be refunded upon request up to February 15, 2011. After that date entry fees will be refunded on request only if entries have reached a maximum of 15 per day and your spot is used for an additional entry.
